What We Do
United For A Better Chicago is a non-partisan unifying 501c4 Non-Profit committed to working with political, business and community leaders in all 50 Wards to support initiatives and policies aligned with our core values of service, civility, and inclusion.
Initiatives That We Support
To foster a culture of thoughtful and civil debate that encourages ethical solutions to address the myriad of challenges Chicago faces, ultimately enhancing civic engagement and community resilience. .
To provide guidance and support to political, business and social advocates working to improve the quality of life for ALL Chicagoans
Adopting a City Charter
A charter is a document that specifies how a local government operates. It can be thought of as a city “constitution.” Charters are usually created by a charter commission that may be authorized by elected officials or a citizen initiative and it would establish formal rules and procedures to provide transparency and stability to city processes.
Recall on the State Ballot
The citizens of Chicago should have the right to recall any elected official who fails to do the job for which they were elected or is found to be in dereliction of duty of their office.
Term Limits
We support term limits for our elected officials because no politician should be able to amass power and financial gain without restraint
